I was born in Durban, South Africa. I graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2003.

I have lived in New Zealand since 2006. I have had many years of anaesthetic training before deciding that I wanted to pursue a career in general practice.

My Special interest areas are Men’s Health, Paediatrics, Skin Checks and removal of skin lesions.

My hobbies are fishing, running and outdoor activities.

Dr Ansuya Naidoo

General Practitioner

I was born in Durban, South Africa. I completed my medical training at the University of Cape Town in 2003.

As a junior doctor in South Africa, I enjoyed working with children and completed a diploma in Child Health in 2005.

I have been living and working in New Zealand since 2006. I began working in general practice in 2009. I have recently relocated to Australia and look forward to a long and rewarding career in general practice on the Gold Coast.

My special interests include Women and Child Health and Preventative Medicine.

Dr Sithu Tun

MRCGP, FRACGP

Dr Tun graduated from the University of Medicine 2 in Yangon, Myanmar in 2000. He worked as a trainee doctor in Myanmar for 2 years and then moved to the United Kingdom for further study and training. He worked in both community and hospital medicine in the UK for 16 years including 6 years as a senior doctor in Emergency Departments and as a GP for 4 years. He achieved MRCGP from the UK in 2014 and Australian Fellowship FRACGP in 2017.

Dr Tun has a special interest in chronic disease management and more so has additional expertise in Diabetes, Mental health, Sports medicine, Acute Medicine, Minor Surgery and Teaching medical students.

His interest and hobbies outside medicine are music, soccer and travelling to explore the nature.

Professor Kuljit Singh

MBBS, FRACP, PHD

Professor Kuljit Singh is an interventional cardiologist on the Gold Coast. He works both in the public and private hospitals on the Gold Coast. He has a special interest in the management of coronary artery disease, percutaneous management of aortic stenosis, atrial fibrillation and heart failure. He sees patients with whole spectrum of general cardiology.

He completed his basic physician and cardiology training at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and completed his PhD in cardiology at the University of Adelaide where he was awarded the University Research Medal. He then worked at the Ottawa Heart Institute in Canada

for 2 years as an interventional and post-doctoral fellow. Upon his return from Canada he joined the Gold Coast University Hospital as a staff specialist cardiologist in 2016.

Along with a busy clinical role, Kuljit is actively involved in academics, teaching and research. He has published multiple articles in high impact journals and has acted as a reviewer for more than 25 cardiac journals and NHMRC. He is an editor of the Journal of geriatric cardiology and is an investigator of both investigators initiated and industry sponsored trials. He has supervised multiple research student projects. He is appointed as an Associate professor at the Griffith University and Adjunct Associate Professor at the Bond University.

DR Hossein Khosravi

Dietitian

Dr. Hossein Khosravi is an accredited practising dietitian with over 20 years of experience in nutrition and dietetics. He has knowledge in all areas of nutrition and dietetics with a special interest in chronic disease prevention and management, weight management, pregnant women, children and older age nutrition and special dietary requirements.

Hossein graduated as a dietitian in Iran in 2000, then followed his passion in research and academic jobs at different universities and research centres in Iran. He moved to Australia in 2013 continuing his professional development and completed his PhD in Griffith University in 2017. He published two book chapters and over 40 scientific papers from his researches in highly ranked academic journals.

Having an extensive international experience and academic background, Dr.Hossein can improve your overall nutrition and health.

Dr Hossein speaks Persian/Farsi and English and is familiar with the culture and diet of different countries such as Australia, New Zealand, and Middle East countries.

Dr Ian McMillan

Dr McMillan has over 30 years’ experience as a Doctor, working in General Practice since 1982. Originally from South Africa, Dr McMillan has been in Australia since 2007 and has worked as a full-time GP and a GP locum in various locations throughout Australia and mainly on the Gold Coast. Dr Ian McMillan also was head of the trauma injury at the Johannesburg Hospital in South Africa.
